Rockin to the 80's

The title sounds kinda funny...Rockin to the 80's

What exactly were the 80's all about? Looking back the style wasn't all that great...sweater dresses, stirrup pants, slouch socks, Jams, and lets not forget the Jeff Spicoli Baja hoodie. But if you were a child of the 80's we thought we looked good.

Ok so now that we are dressed and ready to go...big hair and all, what about the music........there was pop music with the one hit wonders...remember Safety Dance?

What about rap? Run DMC, the Beastie Boys, LL Cool J.

My favorite style of music from the 80's had to be the Hair bands or Heavy Metal bands (just about 1 in the same then). You could never go wrong with a good Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, or Guns N Roses song. I am not really sure when I stopped really listening to them, maybe it was when I stopped wearing stirrup pants and sweater dresses. I don't remember the exact date, but I guess I never looked back and was pretty glad to say goodbye to the 80's.

Bon Jovi 1987 $19.50 a ticket?!? Best concert!
Somehow between then and now I grew up a little had a family, and settled in to my day to day life not thinking about any of that time period...especially the clothes.

So when a friend of mine asked if I wanted to go and see the Broadway musical Rock of Ages, I said ok, not really that excited about it but still wanting to go. Another friend organized a before party, and we were to all dress in 80's style clothes. Before I left the house with my big hair ripped sweatshirt tons of makeup I asked my oldest if he would be embarrassed to be seen in public with me he promptly said YES!! I knew I was ready.

I think there were 20 of us in all, and there were plenty of ripped sweatshirts, converse high tops, leather bomber jackets, stretch pants, and Risky Business attire (the movie not the attitude). When we attend something like this we go all out!! Granted we are sometimes the only ones dressed in character, but thats half the fun. I have to say I had a fantastic time, not only was it a blast from the past, it made me remember something from the 80's I liked....some of the music. As I sit here today listening to Pandora radio and the sounds of Guns N Roses blaring from my computer, happily typing away.

Ok now about the show, if you grew up in any part of the 80's and /or loved the music from that time, go see the show, I had a fantastic time and can't wait to see it again. Here is the synopsis taken right from their website:   www.rockofagesmusical.com

"Set in LA's infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock Of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detriot, and Sherrie, a small town girl, both in LA to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock Of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair."

If you get a chance see the show, have a preview party, enjoy the company of some friends, remember some great times, or create some new memories or traditions. The 80's weren't that bad! (except for the clothes)

I know this...In My Life I'll go out and have a good time with friends, but I can't stay out to late, I am getting old!!

Totally bitchin awesome dude!!!

A New Beginning

For those of you who know me, 2011 was a very difficult year for me. My job had drastically changed and had to learn a whole new position and if I were to fail, I would be left without a job in one of the worst job markets in recent history. This put an amazing amount of stress on me, the added stress between home and work took it's toll. I ended up in the hospital having chest pains and was put through series of tests to determine what was wrong. Thankfully it wasn't life threatening, most of it brought on by stress, but I have had to look at my life a little closer now.

My blood pressure on a good day was 160/110 I developed what my doctor says is stress induced diabetes, my cholesterol and triglyceride levels were out of control. Panic attacks...all the time. So needless to say I was given a multitude of medications to take. The best part of all this, is that if I didn't have all the work stress, I would never had known all that was wrong, so I guess that was a blessing in disguise.

My job, I used to love it.
Now, I love the people I work with and I like my job.
It took a while to get where I am. Part of the reason my job is stressful is because I work rotating shifts 2 weeks of working 12 hour day shifts and then 2 weeks of 12 hour night shifts. Sounds fun right?!? I have finally gotten to a place where I can focus on taking care of myself now, I need and want to get off these medications, after all I am only 40.

I always felt good, didn't always look my best, but thought I was healthy. I don't eat bad, maybe on occassion crave a fried seafood dinner or a giant ice cream sundae, but hardly ever indulged in those. Apparently just because you feel healthy, it doesn't mean you are.
One of my favorite places!
One of the best dinners there!
Who could be from New England and not like Ice Cream?

Life is a journey filled with lessons, hardships, heartaches, joys, celebrations and special moments that will ultimately lead us to our destination, our purpose in life. So what do I do?!? A question that I ask myself on a daily basis...the first thing I am doing is focusing on me for a change, no I won't neglet my kids, but they are going to have to realize that if they want me to live long enough to be able to choose my retirement home, I need to take care of me.

I started with this blog for some "me" time, and other than trying to think of what to write about I am enjoying it, and hope you are too.

Second, force myself to get off my duff, working 12 hours then coming home to either fix dinner and drive the kids to sports, or working the night shift and trying to sneak in a nap before going back for another night shift I am too tired for anything else, and my days off are spent doing laundry and catching up on housework.YUCK!

So I have challenged my oldest to the couch to 5k challenge (wwwc25k.com) . I love to work out with someone else....keps me motivated and I am competitive so nothing like challenging a 14 year old. Little does he know I am going to whip his you know what...so I hope in a couple of months we will run a 5k, and I will do it without going into cardiac arrest! and maybe after that a 10k and then a 1/2 marathon, and then triathalon...hahaha, for now I will just concentrate on the 5k.

And third, spend quality time with my family and see my friends more often. I have made so many friends over the years, some of us have drifted apart, but I think of them often...it is time to get back in touch, and have some fun together.

Stay tuned for updates on my progress..pictures and hopefully getting off the meds!!!

I know this.... In My Life I get just one shot at this, so its time to make some changes

Cleaning the House

I am no Martha Stewart nor do I ever want to be, I am a regular person with a full time job, a husband and 3 boys, do I want to spend my days off cleaning NO, do I want my boys to clean YES, but I also realize that I live on planet earth, and they won’t clean unless threatened.

I was thinking of some cleaning tips for regular people, these are especially good if you are cleaning before company….and may, at the very least give you a laugh
.

TIP 1: DUCT TAPE
No home should be without. Duct tape is handy for
plumbing repairs, hemming drapes, tablecloths,
clothes, just about anything, and now comes in great colors.

TIP 2: OVENS
If you think ovens are just for baking, think again. Ovens represent
at least 9 cubic feet of hidden storage space, which means they're a
great place to shove dirty dishes, dirty clothes, or just about
anything you want to get out of sight when company's coming.

TIP 3: CLOTHES DRYERS
Like Tip 2, except bigger.

TIP 4: DUST RUFFLES
No bed should be without one. Some beliveve that dust
ruffles exist to keep dust out from under a bed or to help coordinate
the colorful look of a bedroom. The rest of us know a dust ruffle's
highest and best use is to hide whatever you've managed to shove
under the bed.

TIP 5: DOOR LOCKS
If a room clearly can't be whipped into shape in 30 minutes, use the door locked method of cleaning.

TIP 6: DUSTING
Never dust under what you can dust around

TIP 7: DISHES
Don't use them. Use plastic or paper.

TIP 8: CLOTHES WASHING
This works when you have a teenager that won't or can't do laundry.
You can extend the life of your underwear….front, back, inside, and out
CAUTION: This tip is recommended only for teens and those who don't
care if they get in a car wreck.

TIP 9: IRONING
If an article of clothing doesn't require a full press and your hair
does, a curling iron is the answer. In between curling your hair, use
the hot wand to iron minor wrinkles out of your clothes.
CAUTION: You shouldn't be wearing the clothes at the time..

TIP 10: VACUUMING
Stick to the middle of the room, which is the only place people look.
Don't bother vacuuming under furniture. It takes way too long and no
one looks there anyway.

TIP 11: LIGHTING
The key here is low, low, and lower. It's not only romantic, but bad
lighting can hide a multitude of dirt.

Tip 12 Front Door
Ue a lemon scented spray on your door, your guests will smell the fresh lemon scent and think you've cleaned all day.

Tip 13 Cleaning Person
Pay someone else to clean your house and then you can relax.

I know this…In My Life, my house may not be spotless, but its also not a house it’s a home, and that is where my heart is.

Superstitions and Old Wives Tales

Starve a cold, feed a fever...or is it starve a fever, feed a cold? I never get that one right.....besides it doesn't work in my house....you tell a teenager he can't eat.

Do you ever wonder where some of them came from?

Here are a few you may or may not know...

Do not lean a broom against a bed. The evil spirits in the broom will cast a spell on the bed.

If you sweep trash out the door after dark, it will bring a stranger to visit. (that will never happen in my house!)

If someone is sweeping the floor and sweeps over your feet, you'll never get married.

Never take a broom along when you move. Throw it out and buy a new one.

To prevent an unwelcome guest from returning, sweep out the room they stayed in immediately after they leave. (this one I have to try)

Keep cats away from babies because they "suck the breath" of the child.

It's good luck to find a four-leaf clover.

Clover protects human beings and animals from the spell of magicians and the wiles of fairies, and brings good luck to those who keep it in the house.

You must hold your breath while going past a cemetery until you see a white house or you will breathe in the spirit of someone who has recently died.

FRIDAY THE 13TH - here are some interesting tidbits...

  More than 80% of high-rises lack a 13th floor.
Many airports skip the 13th gate.
  Airplanes have no 13th aisle.
Hospitals and hotels regularly have no room number 13.
Italians omit the number 13 from their national lottery.
On streets in Florence, Italy, the house between number 12 and 14 is addressed as 12 and a half.
Many cities do not have a 13th Street or a 13th Avenue
In France, socialites known as the quatorziens (fourteeners) once made themselves available as 14th guests to keep a dinner party from an unlucky fate.
If you have 13 letters in your name, you will have the devil's luck . Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Theodore Bundy and Albert De Salvo all have 13 letters in their names.

OK what about Turkey and tryptophan.....Does it really make you sleepy???

In this instance, lore almost intersects with science. Turkey does contain tryptophan, an amino acid which is a natural sedative. But...and there is always a but...tryptophan doesn't act on the brain unless it is taken on an empty stomach with no protein present, and the amount gobbled even during a holiday feast is generally too small to have an appreciable effect.
That lazy, lethargic feeling so many are overcome by at the conclusion of this meal is most likely due to the combination of drinking alcohol and overeating a carbohydrate-rich meal.

Milk, beef, and beans are also among the foods which have this amino acid, and experts say the average serving of chicken or ground beef contains as much tryptophan as a serving of turkey does. If tryptophan were truly the sandman's henchman, we'd be falling asleep at the wheel on our way home from KFC or McDonald's.

Now, my mom had her own superstitions...I always thought they were a little crazy but, I often wondered if they really worked...

When you lose a baby tooth, squeeze the gum and the new tooth will grow in straight...call me crazy she did this to all 3 of us and none of us had braces

Don't get rid of the palms from Palm Sunday, when a thunderstorm approaches take a palm and set it on fire on your front step, the thunderstorm will go away.

When visiting someone, always leave in the same door you came in.

Never kill a spider in the house...it's good luck...(not in my house I am petrified of spiders)

Always carry a corno portafortuna on you, wherever you go.

I know this In My Life I may not be that superstitious, but I may teach my children some of my mom's superstitions and old wives tales.

My Favorite Things

One of my all time favorite movies is the Sound of Music. I could watch that movie anytime that it is on and never get bored with it.

My children don't like watching it with me because I tend to sing every song, not that I can carry a tune but I sing anyway. I have the soundtrack on my iPod, I even went to a Sound of Music sing along with a few friends (dressed up in character….I was a nun)

Working the night shift does crazy things to your thought process, I was trying to think of blog topics and I decided that I would change the lyrics to My Favorite Things to adapt to my crazy life, I have to admit I was laughing quite a bit after I wrote this.

Here are the original lyrics....

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into Springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad.

And here are mine... Sing along with the video...

Water faucets running and toilets need cleaning
Bright colored stains on the floors and the ceiling
Laundry is waiting for someone to fold
These are a few of the things I am told……..

The dogs are so hungry and so are the fishes
I cannot feed them I have to do dishes
I forgot to buy milk, so I got out in the cold
These are a few of the things I am told…….

Homework is not done, there's a project that's due
I think I am coming down with a flu
I'm tired, I'm achy, but I need to be bold
These are a few of the things I am told…..

When the kids sleep
When homework's done
When the house is clean
I sit and remember that this is all mine
And then I have a glass of wine…..

Here's what I know...In My Life....if you can't laugh a little you may as well stay in bed.

This blog is dedicated to all my fellow Sound Of Music fans...you know who you are

Saving Money

Do you ever find yourself going to the grocery store, Target, or even Walmart, only needing to pick up a couple of things, and coming out spending way more than you wanted and not even getting what you went for?

The odds of going to the store for a loaf of bread and coming out with only a loaf of bread are three billion to one. _Erma Bombeck

Here's my theory.....it all has to door with those automatic doors.....there has to be some sort of unexplainable maybe chemical reaction in our brains when we pass through them. I can be reciting my list during the whole drive there, and once those doors open, POOF it's gone! So what do I need to do every time, make a list even if it's is for 2 items I have to make a list. Do I like the fact that I can't remember to get 2 things, NO! And I am convinced it has nothing to do with age, It's all because of those dam doors!

That being said.....

Now that ot's a new year, most people are trying to find a way to save money, myself included. Last year we did cut back, and wanted to keep going, but it seems as though anytime you get ahead, you take a step or two back.

Grocery shopping is a big headache for me. I always try to shop the sales, and still hate spending so much money. I also hate clipping coupons, I will definitely never be an extreme couponer.

Raising 3 boys, some of the necessities we go through in any given week are.....
6-8 Gallons of milk (I never drink the milk, because I am afraid we will run out and I will have to back to the grocery store to pick it up)
3-4 boxes of any given cereal
2 dozen eggs
and the list goes on and on...and that just covers breakfast.
So saving money is somewhat of a priority for me. One of the things I dislike is the boys drinking soda and try to limit it, and the fact that they open a can take a couple of sips and leave it there to go flat, so I only get it when its on sale, and when there is none in the house, there's none. So to save some money on the soda side of things we bought a Soda Stream Machine, and have to admit it's pretty cool, and the soda flavors are pretty good too.

So my goals on saving money in 2012 aside from starving the children and clipping coupons....

Organize myself so we are not ordering takeout at the last minute
Plan weekly meals ahead of time
Send Michael to a cooking class, so I don't have to get organized or plan weekly meals (lets see if he is reading the blog and paying attention haha)
Make a list every time I have to step foot in front those automatic doors, and have a study conducted as to why I never can remember anything once I pass through them.
Here's to a great money saving 2012!

I know this....In My Life.......milk is $2.50/gallon, cereal is way too expensive, and I think I should raise chickens instead of buying eggs.....boy can growing boys eat.

La Befana

La Befana vien di notte
con le scarpe tutte rotte
col vestito alla "romana"
viva viva la Befana !!

I grew up reciting this poem all the time in Italian and wanted to share a little bit about her and her story....

The  English translation of the poem is...

La Befana comes at night
With her shoes all broken
With a dress in Roman style
Long live the Befana

Sounds much nicer in Italian.

La Befana visits on the night before the epiphany (January 5th) and brings candy and gifts to good girls and boys and brings ashes and coal to bad children.

La Befana was an old Italian lady who spent her days cleaning and scrubbing her house. (kinda reminds me of my mother in law, except she's not old and not Italian, but she does clean the house every day)

One day three travelers stopped by. It turned out they were the three wise men who were following the bright star in the sky which would lead them to the newborn baby Jesus.
They stopped to rest with La Befana and before they left they invited the old lady to come with them and meet the infant king. La Befana refused. She wanted to get back to her cleaning and felt she had wasted enough time already.
But afterwards, she thought it over and realized what a great opportunity she had thrown away. So she ran after the three wise men, to find them and go with them to meet the infant king. She never caught up to the 3 wise men, and tradition says that she is still looking for the baby king of Bethlehem. So every year on the Feast of the Three Kings January 6th she visits  all children while they sleep and leaves them the gifts. She never knows which child might be the baby king of Bethlehem.

La Befana is one of Italy's oldest and most celebrated legends. This is a significant day for Italians because it marks the end of the Christmas season and the day that the three Wise Men arrived at the manger of the Christ child.

I know I am a few days late telling her story, but better late than never.

I know this....In My Life I will come across many legends, but I think this legend will become a part of our family tradition.

The House of Testosterone

It's not what you think....ok maybe it is, I am talking about me, and my house, it's full of the stuff.

I wanted to talk about my boys, but didn't want to talk about how cute they were when they were born or how much they weighed (all over 9lbs by the way) I wanted to explain what it was like to live in a house with all men.

When I was younger I wished to be surrounded by men, I guess I should have been more specific.

Let me briefly introduce my 3 sons...

Brian is our first born, he will be 15 in April. I remember what I was like at 15, and I remember what my mother said to me "I hope you have a child just like you when you are a mother" well the mothers curse worked. He is the male version of me, not saying that's a bad thing, but we like to butt heads quite often.

Then there is our middle son Nicholas, he is our Christmas Eve baby and just turned 9. There is 5 1/2 years between Brian and Nick....I had a hard time getting pregnant with Nick and thus the age difference. The other 2 boys like to call Nick the angel child......and here is where the trouble starts.....he is not the angel child, he is just smart enough to know to keep quiet when trouble is brewing. That being said, he gets into plenty of trouble as well.

Finally there is Matthew, who will be turning 8 in May, if you look up the meaning of the name Matthew it means gift from God, and that indeed he was. His story is worth a blog of his own, so stay tuned for that... Matt being the youngest has to compete for everything, I can relate I was also the youngest. So needless to say Matt fights with everyone and mostly for the attention from either one of his brothers.

I cannot forget my husband Michael, my soulmate and best friend, but sometimes the leader of the pack.

That's the 4 of them, I love them with all of my heart, I wouldn't change a thing, but I would like to have my own room where I can retreat to when the need arises.
I like this one, except I would close it up, and make it soundproof.

Now for the testosterone and the problem with it.

Sometimes I feel like I am on a safari or some sort of expedition and I am to gather all information about what I see. Well what I see often is 3 tornados going through my house and in their wake countless messes are left behind.

My theory on housework is, if the item doesn't multiply, smell, catch fire, or block the refrigerator door, let it be. No one else cares. Why should you?- Erma Bombeck

I realized a few things while studying the boys in their habitat:
I will never have a clean bathroom
They will never known where the dishwasher is
I will always find socks on the living room floor
They may never know how to change a roll of toilet paper

I am not sure if it is something that is learned or something acquired, or if they are just brilliant (I am sure they would agree the latter) but no matter what I say or do, I can't change them, and the more I think about it the more I don't want to change them (let their wives take care of that someday).

I do want them to know that the toilet seat goes up, no need to spray all over the seat, the dishwasher is right next to the sink, socks...oh forget it I will never win that battle, and the hole in the middle of the toilet paper roll is there for a reason.

My second favorite household chore is ironing. My first being hitting my head on the top bunk bed until I faint- Erma Bombeck

I have gotten better about the fights they have, and they have plenty, my rule, don't come and see me unless there is blood, and if you break something, you bought it.

The happiest families are those in which the children are properly spaced....about 10 feet apart- unknown

They seem to make more of a mess when I am not around, and especially when I am working the night shifts. The reason, so I am told for the house being a mess when I am on nights...they don't want to wake me when I am sleeping...maybe this is where they become brilliant. If we tell mom we didn't want to wake her she will not be mad at the disaster in the living room.

Over the past 15 years of gathering information on the testosterone that fills the air of my house that lies in the middle of surburbia, I think I know why people tend to say "God bless you" when they find out I have 3 boys, and yes I truly have been blessed by God.

I know this...In My Life if you can't beat them, join them and have a good time at it!

The Tortellini Thing

I'm Italian, what does that mean? I guess it means a few things...

I spent my entire childhood thinking what I ate for lunch was pronounced
sangwich

Our dogs understood Italian, and they still do!

We ate pasta for dinner at least 3 times a week.

I thought Catholicism was the only religion in the world.

I learned to play bocce before I went to school.

I grew up in a house with a yard that didn't have 1 patch of dirt that didn't have a flower or a vegetable growing from it

I can make a mean homemade lasagna.

Almost never have spaghetti sauce from a jar ( I say almost because after all I was born here, sometimes it is necessary to have sauce from a jar).

On occasion make my own pasta...

And the Italian cookies...no problem!! Especially pizzelles, except mine have a twist, I make different flavors not just anise.

BUT......the tortellini thing, just can't do it. Not sure why, I used to watch my mom make them all the time, and when I was in Italy, that was the highlight of my vacation, a great big bowl of tortellini in brodo (broth).

I made a promise to my cousin when we were there in April, that I would try to make tortellini, I haven't done it yet but today being my Friday Funday Review, and seeing as though we didn't go anywhere special or eat out anywhere spectacular this week, here goes nothing.......

My Cousin Fabio

Questo e per te Fabio

Start with the meat filling

Gotta make the pasta

The Finished Product!...I need a nap!

Not as pretty as my mom used to make, and probably not as tasty either. I will be sure to let you know what my family thinks after dinner tonight.

I know this...In My Life if you are scared to try and make something...do it anyway there's always takeout!!

In My Generation

There are a million things that I think about during the course of a day, that may be 1 of the reasons I don't sleep well. Today's thought...In My Generation.

I am a child of the 70's. What does that mean, well if you ask some of the younger generations (when did I become an older generation?) we didn't care about anything pertaining to the environment. I admit growing up, we never recycled, or payed attention to lights being left on all the time, or the cost to fill up the car with gas... BUT...

We used to walk to the grocery store, and didn't get into our cars to go 2-blocks down the street.

Clothes dryer....yea it's called sunshine, go hang the clothes on the line, sometimes even in the winter.

New clothes every 2 months...ha, my mother was a seamstress, if you liked it on the rack, she would make it cheaper!

Mow the lawn meant break out the push mower...no gasoline needed...it builds character.

How many televisions do you have in your house? And how big are they? We had a huge 19 inch set in the living room, and my mom had a cute little 13 inch black and white TV in her bedroom......what's a black and white TV you ask? Do they even make those anymore??

Are you thirsty? Grab yourself a glass and turn on the faucet, no fancy bottled water for us.

Telephones? Yes we had 1, just 1 and when you dialed, you actually dialed a rotary phone........I hated getting to the 5th or 6th number and screwing up and having to start all over.
The phone rang, and you had no idea who it was, you actually had to pick it up and say hello, and if someone else called at the same time......busy signal!

Cell phone? What's the point, if someone needed to get a hold of you they either knew where you were or they would call until someone answered the phone at your house...we didn't have answering machines either.

Video games? Nope we had to use our imagination and go outside and play, and if I remember correctly in the summer you were outside from the time you got up until the sun went down, only coming in for lunch. When we did get video games you still had to use your imagination, because the graphics were horrible.
Remember Pong??

Play dates.....if you wanted to go to a friends house, you just went, no need to "schedule" a time.

Life was so much simpler, we were not so busy in our daily lives, you had dinner as a family, your parents knew who your friends were, yes the technology was lacking, but I am not so sure I would miss much of it. so turn off the TV, shut off that cell phone and go take a walk, and think about how "Green" we used to be and how "Green" we are now.

Yup, that's me with a blouse my mother made
I know this...In My Life green is not just a color it's a way of life that needs to be looked at from time to time.

My Bucket List

Have you found joy in your life? Has your life brought joy to others?  Carter Chambers (Morgan Freeman) The Bucket List

Ok, I know I am only 40, but I have a bucket list  of things I have done and things I want to do before I die. I have decided to make a framed copy of this list and hang it where I will look at it at least once a day.

The more I think about it the more I think everyone should have a bucket list. You never know what life has to offer and how long you may be here, so why not make the most of it.

My decision to share some of my favorites on the list is not because I want to show you what I want to accomplish, but hoping to inspire you to make your own list. So here it is...

You get the idea. Take time for yourself, look at the big picture, life is short make the most of it, watch your children grow, cherish every moment.
Sit down sometime in the next week and make a bucket list, I bet there are some things you have already done, and lots that you can add, no matter how crazy they sound thats half the fun!!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed
by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.

I know this...In My Life I hope my Bucket is empty before I go!
